Felsina

Felsina : The winery was built around a Medieval courtyard and boasts a wonderful cantina. In Roman times, Fèlsina – which means “hosting pilgrims”- was part of the pilgrim route Via Francigena leading to Rome. In 1730, Fèlsina became a cellar and in 2016, the winery celebrates 50 years of the Poggiali.

Placed at the winery, Bob Wilson’s light sculpture « La Traviata » which was presented at Salone del Mobile in Wallpaper’s exhibition of Handmade in April 2016: produced by SLAMP, Rome. In addition to his light sculpture, Bob Wilson’s new theatre work with his unique use of light debuts Oedipus Rex in the amphitheater amongst the ruins of Pompeii July 5th 2018 this summer.
