Born in 1992 in Sydney, Australia, where she lives and works. Amy Thai is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the dialogue between fragility and permanence through materials like flowers, marble, and glass. A graduate in fashion design from the Whitehouse Institute (2015), she has lived and worked in Paris and is currently exhibiting at Barovier & Toso ARTE in Venice.
About her work:
Amy Thai’s art is rooted in the interplay between nature and materiality. Her use of ephemeral flowers alongside durable substances like marble reflects on time, memory, and transformation. Her recent exploration of glass introduces a new layer of delicacy and luminosity to her work, continuing her pursuit of capturing the poetic tension between the fleeting and the eternal.
