About
To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream... - Hamlet by William Shakespeare

Gardens in My Dreams: The summer of 2025 opens a passage into the subconscious, where imagination takes root and dreams bloom freely. At Castello di Brolio and Fèlsina—two historic sites nestled in the heart of Chianti—this sixth edition of Art of the Treasure Hunt invites visitors to wander through a visionary parcours of contemporary art.

As night inspires creation, eleven artists explore the delicate space between memory and reverie. Each piece offers a personal map of the invisible, using AI, sculpture, silk, glass, marble, or painting to evoke places that exist beyond waking life.

We return to Castello di Brolio and Fèlsina, alongside past trailblazing venues like Castello di Ama, Colle Beretto, Villa Geggiano, Volpaia and Borgo San Felice. These exceptional estates, known for wines rated above 92/100pts, continue to host the evolving dialogue between art and terroir.
More about the artists

Refik Anadol transforms data into emotion through AI-generated environments that visualize memory and the subconscious. His immersive installations are portals into alternate states of being.

Apollonaire Broche fuses glass and metal into delicate yet resilient structures. Her sculptural works capture the fragile beauty of dreams as they form and dissolve.

Pring Bunnag draws inspiration from Thai rituals and personal iconography, creating textile and paper-based installations that evoke the sacred spaces of the inner world.

Sam Falls works with natural elements, time, and weather to create poetic imprints of the environment—silent traces of fleeting moments preserved in color and form.

Henrik Håkansson investigates the hidden systems of the natural world. His pieces often blur the line between science and meditation, inviting contemplation of life’s unseen rhythms.

Patrick Jacobs crafts miniature dreamscapes inside glowing dioramas. These intimate windows evoke nostalgia and wonder—visions half-remembered from sleep.

Massimo Listri photographs historic interiors with haunting precision. In this edition, his lens captures spaces that echo with the absence of time and the presence of memory.

Jonas Mekas (1922–2019), poet of avant-garde cinema, brings a posthumous presence to the exhibition. His dreamlike films are odes to the fleeting, the joyful, the in-between.

Aidan Salakhova sculpts in pure white marble, exploring themes of femininity, faith, and the veiled self. Her works resonate with strength beneath their silence.

Amy Thai prints on silk and paper to explore the thin boundaries between myth and consciousness. Her works suggest ancient stories unfolding in modern light.

Alexandra Vertinskaya plays with the effects of time, light, and perception. In Fèlsina, her mirrored installations slowly degrade—changing form, like memory eroded by time.

I lead you through my favourite contemporary art spaces, artists as you glimpse through my eyes into dreamscapes that belong to others. Summer 2025, these visions are fragments of sleep that I cherish and share with you.
