Patrick Jacobs is an American artist known for his intricate dioramas that blend painting, sculpture and photography. A graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago (MFA, 1999), he has exhibited widely in the USA and abroad, including in Mexico, Japan, Italy, the UK and France.
About his work:
Patrick Jacobs constructs miniature dioramas viewed through glass lenses, transporting the viewer into surreal yet hyperreal landscapes. His work blurs the line between the real and the imagined, manipulating scale and depth to create scenes that are both familiar and fantastical. Through a fusion of materials and techniques, he invites us to explore perceptual boundaries and spatial illusion.
